Who Am I?
I was born in Texas many years ago, (we're not going to elaborate on my age), and moved to Alaska with my family when I was five. We lived
here for nearly ten years before moving to New Mexico and then Wyoming where I finished high school. A few years later I followed my parents
back to Alaska. I met my husband a year later, and have been here ever since.
My husband is a home inspector/energy rater and I am a receptionist for an oncology doctor. We have two boys who will soon be turning 13
and 18. We also share our home with our rot/lab, Wishbone, and gerbil, Chewda (don't ask).
About My Writing
I happen to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, the Matanuska Valley in Alaska. Not only the Valley where I live, but other
beautiful places around the state, have inspired the settings for the stories I have written and am currently working on. It is my desire to not
only share this wonderful place with others, but also to create stories that touch the heart and bring to life characters that are realistic and
appealing.
My writing career actually started in grade school, but I never attempted to get any of my stories published until recently. Finally, my efforts
have paid off. My first book is being published through Tate Publishing and will be released this fall. It is now available for purchase directly
through Tate's website at: http://www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore/book.php?w=978-1-60604-867-2
